Meta IV was built as a private yacht for a Swiss businessman who made his fortune in the hotel industry in 1998. Herbert Mayrhauser, an Austrian captain, met her on a dock in Phuket in 2010 and fell in love with her right away. Meta IV began her new life as a luxury charter yacht in the fall of 2012, after two years of rigorous restoration and refitting.
The naval architect Thomas E. Colvin was responsible for the vessel's attractive form and sturdy hull. She's totally built of Thai teak, one of the greatest timbers for classic boat construction.
Meta IV has a length of 85 feet (25 meters). That makes it longer than the Santa Maria, the ship on which Columbus sailed into history when he found the Americas. In fact, with all of her room, you'd almost forget you were on a boat. The sheer size of the ship, as well as the amenities on board, make for a memorable vacation for your family or friends.
It's your once-in-a-lifetime excursion. And the crew of Meta IV will do all in their power to make it an unforgettable experience. Take the wheel, cruise the waterways, or simply unwind and nap in the sun.
Meta IV features four guest accommodations, all of which are fully air conditioned and equipped with ensuite bathrooms and electric toilets. Two cabins have queen-size beds, while the other two have twin beds. The triple stateroom is located behind the cockpit. The whole aft of the boat is covered, with several eating places and sunning spots.
The spacious galley and saloon eating space occupy the boat's center. However, chances are you'll be eating the majority of your meals outside in the sun or in Myanmar's warm nights.
This crewed sailing yacht is available for yacht charter with a base price of 22 400 € (approximatly 25 298 $).
