History of the Privilege range
In 1985, Philippe Jeantot, double world champion in single-handed racing and founder of the Vendée Globe, decided to start building boats. Jeantot Marine exhibited his very first boat in Paris which attracts the public and got numerous orders. Philippe Jeantot puts his years of sailing around the globe to good use in the service of Privilege. His keywords are comfort, safety, and sailing pleasure. His catamarans equipped the largest fleet of charter catamarans in the Caribbean. Also, the shipyard was the European leader in the manufacture of cruising catamarans. It became the reference and even dominated the American market. It was rewarded the International Quality Trophy in 1992 and the Privilege 45 and 42 were elected Boat of the Year in the United States in 1995 and 1996 respectively.
From 1996, Alain Rabineau took over the range for Alliaura Marine and positioned it in the very high-end and large catamaran segment.
Launched in 2004, the Privilège 745 became the largest catamaran model of the range, combining generous dimensions, refined fittings, and sailing comfort. Heirs to this success, Privilege 615 and 515 will follow in 2007.
In 2012, PRIVILEGE MARINE took over he construction of the series. The shipyard was able to surround itself with an experienced and qualified team. Since 2017, PRIVILEGE MARINE is a member of the world-renowned HanseYachts group.

Layout and equipment of the catamaran Captiva
The Privilege 745, Alliaura Marine’s largest catamaran, reaches the rank of sailing yacht-catamaran, just like Sunreef, Lagoon or other custom productions.
As for all the other Privilege yachts, the Marc Lombard firm from La Rochelle takes care of the design. The Diedre firm from Versaille is responsible for the interior design, which is extremely refined. The choice of furniture, fittings, and lighting results from the meticulous choices of a demanding owner.
With its owner’s suite and three VIP cabins, Captiva can accommodate 8 guests. Each has its own en-suite bathroom. The three VIP cabins, all identical, offer beautiful spaces.
The owner’s area has a private office space, plenty of storage space, and a magnificent bathroom with a bathtub.
The salon is spacious, contemporary, and bright. The bar and dining area are ideal for 8 people. The finishes are of impeccable quality with white leather and veneers contrasting with the cherry wood. Particular attention has been paid to the treatment of natural light and lighting.
At the front of the starboard hull, the galley, in the passageway, is also very spacious and well equipped: 2 large fridges and 2 large freezers, 2 ice machines, a dishwasher, an oven … and is extended by the crew quarters, with two cabins and a bathroom that can accommodate up to 4 members completely independent from the rest of the ship.
